INDEPENDENCE DAY

On August 15th, the 78th Independence Day was celebrated at Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara School in Ashoknagar. The flag was hoisted by the chief guest, school correspondent Mrs. Shrutha Jithesh. In her address, she emphasized that "Unity and cooperation are essential to build a truly prosperous and strong India." The event featured patriotic songs, dances, and speeches by the students. School principal Mrs. Joy Jeevan Rai paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for independence. She also spoke about instilling a sense of brotherhood, the purpose of the pledge, and the importance of national unity among the students. Academic coordinator Mrs. Usha Hegde, teachers, non-teaching staff, and parents were present at the event.
