ANNUAL JUNIOR SPORTS DAY

The annual sports meet for the primary section of Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara School, Ashoknagar, was held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the school sports ground. The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of chief guests Dr. Arjun Nayak, a renowned dentist, cosmetic dentist, and general dental surgeon, and Dr. Mohini A. Nayak, a consultant endodontist and general dentist. The program began with the students’ march past and a prayer. The event was officially inaugurated by lighting the symbolic sports torch. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Arjun Nayak said, “Students are like blossoming flowers in the garden of the school. They must develop the mindset to accept both victory and defeat equally.” Fun-filled sports activities were organized for the students, which saw enthusiastic participation. Students from Nursery to Grade 3 presented entertaining performances showcasing the diversity of nature. The school’s principal, Mrs. Joy Jeevan Rai, appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and spirit. She remarked, “Any task undertaken with unity leads to success.” Teacher Arunita welcomed the gathering, while teacher Saujanya proposed the vote of thanks. The program was hosted by Gloria and Asha Priya. The school correspondent Mrs. Shrutha Jithesh, academic coordinator Mrs. Usha Hegde, teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and students were present for the event.
