Our school celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme was graced by our Chief Guest and Correspondent, Mrs. Shrutha Jithesh, our Principal, Mrs. Joy Jeevan Rai, and our Academic Co-ordinator, Mrs. Usha Hegde.
The celebration began with a solemn prayer, followed by the welcome speech delivered by Aman. Soon after, the National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, and all present joined in singing the National Anthem and the Flag Song, filling the atmosphere with pride and patriotism.
Bhoomika highlighted the importance of the day, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. A melodious patriotic song was then presented by the students, which touched the hearts of the audience.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Shrutha Jithesh, delivered an inspiring speech, urging the students to uphold the values of unity, responsibility, and dedication towards the nation. This was followed by a colourful Janmashtami dance, symbolizing our cultural richness and traditions.
Our respected Principal, Mrs. Joy Jeevan Rai, addressed the gathering with her motivating words, encouraging the students to be disciplined, hardworking, and committed to the progress of the nation.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Adyanth, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers, parents, and students for making the day memorable.
The Independence Day celebration was indeed a blend of patriotism and culture, leaving a deep impression on everyone present.
